Beginners Class
Designed for people with no previous Pilates experience. Taking time to learn the technique and its principals under close supervision with coaching points and pleny of fun throughout each session! Toning and strengthening your body from the inside out. Leaving you feeling longer, stronger and with a good sense of well being. The Beginners Class is essential before moving on to more progressive classes.
Beginner/Progressive Class
For people who have some experience of pilates and have undertaken the beginner class. Taking each movement to the next level, creating more challenge but only if you want to! Again with plenty of coaching points and supervision throughtout each session. Small Pilates equipment will be used from time to time....
Intermediate Class.
For people who have already covered Beginner and Beginner/Progressive level. Using a strong core, developed in previous classes, to go from strength to strength. Adapting movements and adding challenges, sometimes with the use of small Pilates equipment, such as Dyno Band, Pilates Fitness Circle, small Weighted Toning Balls, Flexi Ball and Foam Roller....
Advanced Class
A very challenging level. For people who have covered all other levels of Pilates and have developed enough core strength to now work at an Advanced level. Enjoying a wide range of Advanced moves and Power Workouts. Also using small equipment along with the new Pilates Edge.
Pilates for Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
This series of mat based exercises are designed to re-introduce the body to exercise after Breast Cancer treatment. The exercises focus on range of movement for the entire shoulder girdle and will minimise muscle soreness, tightness and weakness, establishing mobility, restoring posture, ensuring proper biomechanics and developing core and peripheral strength to address muscular imbalance created from the surgeries. Exercises will incorporate hand-held toning balls and a towel or small foam cushion to work on low load strength and endurance.
1:1 Pilates Tuition
A workout tailored specifically to your own needs. The session works around your own strengths and weaknesses and serves to create an all over strength along with tone and a complete awareness of your body giving you a new found confidence. Sessions can be booked as a 1 off or blocks of six.
